Where do you all boat? We boat from the Alton pool to up in Ellsberry, our favorite trips and the best beaches are up North through the dam.

As of this evening all volunteer help would be appreciated on Thursday 6/19 to make sandbags.

A rock wall, reinforced with sandbags, has been built around the building but more sandbags are needed.

No experience necessary.

Call Port Charles 636-250-2628 to confirm that help is still needed before you head out there, in case it is too late.

The water will probably be over Blaise Stn road, so call 636-250-2628 for ferry service when you get there.

I can't make any promises, because I am just a freelance writer. I give them ideas and they decide which stories they want me to do.They usually assign me about 5 or 6 stories a year. They have 9 issues a year. They have really made some cutbacks also. Now that they have an online edition, there are less people ordering the paper edition.
