How is the boat coming along??? We will be out starting next weekend after the river settles back down. Let us know if your boat is not finished and want to get out on the river. Always welcome to catch a ride with us.

I was out at my marina last weekend & buffed the sides (below the rub rail) & touched up the bottom paint & came to the conclusion...I wish I had a smaller boat (or more help I guess). I winterized it myself for the first time, so I'm real nervous if I did it right. Keep me updated on the process. Are you on Facebook?

It has a couple of beaches on it, the more 'family friendly' beach is all the way at the downstream tip. The Thursday night party beach is at the upriver end, facing the channel (IL side). Great place to be on a Summer weekend and great place to camp! We've camped out there during the summer and the sunsets are fantastic. Do you have kids? I'd love to connect with another family out on the river.
