I just put an invite out on the site because I got a gig for a band I know well for Dec 13th at NorthShore Oasis. I would love to get as many people as possible out there for our debut. At 7:41pm on June 30, 2008, Lisa said…: Here is the scoop on the b-day celebration. It will be my 4th year throwing one for my friends with food and jello shots. I would like to have it at the river but 1) will there even be a sandbar to have it on and will it be clean enough. 2) I will need a friend with a boat to get me and the food out there. If none of that looks like it will happen then I will have ot at my house July 19th. Definately you and your family are invited. I will be sending emails out probably a week before with directions. So where have you been hanging out? I still am looking forward to that invite on Thursday whenever the river recedes.

Bummer for me because I am so wanting to get out on some water; have some fun, get some sun and relax. Hopefully we can all get back to Iowa by July 20th because I was wanting to bring lots of food and a canopy out there to celebrate my B-day with friends.

When it comes to boating it usually is not hard to convince him to go. His daughter really wants to go somewhere but we can only go Sunday.

He has his daughter this weekend and I am trying to get him to pull the boat out of dry dock but they want $40.00 to put on the trailer. I would like to try Lake Carlyle this Sunday. They said the water is like 75 degrees there. Perfect for swimming. Do you and Sarah ever take your boat other places besides the river?
