This has been a favorite the last few seasons. Good beach with nice water depth for cooling off while socializing.

Bajakelly, typically, is water depth sufficient to come in from the downstream side? Is there a special approach that should be used? The reason I ask is I ran into some very shallow water trying to get there last year and ended up backing out.

It can be tricky when the water is low. Go slow and watch the depth guage or follow someone in that's bigger than you. And yes, the only way in is to come up from downstream. Staying to the IL side seems to be the best route.
