I like them both, but there is a certian satisfaction knowing that you can be anywhere you want to go in a few minutes, athough sometimes the cruise is the best part of the trip, I have had both, and liked them both. I currently have a cruiser, but my friend have house boats, best of both I guess

Runabout, especially on such a beach-friendly river. I couldn't imagine it taking an hour to get from Grafton to Enterprise Island... Houseboat would be nice, but we typically beach and play most weekends.
